Meera also known as mira bai ,was a 16th-century devotee of Krishna poet and Hindu mystic. Meera bai was born in Kudki  (now  Pali district of Rajasthan) .


Meera bai belongs to the royal rajput family. She was a major contributor in the bhakti movement through his poem, songs. She was better known for her devotion to lord Krishna, and treating as husband and fearlessly to overlook family and social conventions.
